Lazy Weekend with Hubby

This post brought to you by TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

The weekend was 2 lazy days for hubby and me. Actually, it was 3 lazy days because the laziness started Friday after work!

Friday evening, when hubby got out of work we were planning to watch a movie. Unfortunately it was raining and we didn't have any umbrella so change of plans. We then decided to just try out this Mexican restaurant near the cinema. We ordered two beef tacos in soft tortilla. Hmm hmm! Then add some drops of TABASCO® Original Red hot sauce... perfect! TABASCO® Original Red is "So Much More Than Hot." It's really not just the heat I'm after, putting some hot sauce enhances the flavor of the tacos, changing the good tasting food to a great tasting food! After having our yummy tacos, hubby and I went home and watched some shows on TV.

Saturday, we were suppose to go to the supermarket but decided not to and just stay at home! So this was really a not so productive day.

Sunday, we forced ourselves to go out for a while to watch a movie. After our not-so-often movie date, we decided to just go home and order take-outs. We ordered a medium size pizza and some chicken fingers on the side. Of course no pizza is complete without the TABASCO® Original Red... Pizza Perfected. Haven't had pizza for weeks and we really finished it fast hihi!

While eating pizza hubby mentioned that it's the football season and the Super Bowl is right around the corner. Our best friends love watching the games and would usually watch the game while having some slices of pizza. He told us that Super Bowl + pizza + TABASCO® Original Red a game day tradition! He also mentioned other Game-Day Party Menu that he and his friends usually have. He even gave me the web page for some simple ideas & recipes for food everyone loves!

Gosh, just talking about it is making me hungry....

Korean Drama

I'm into Korean dramas nowadays. I always like watching them, but lately, I think since late last year, I've been watching a lot of them. :)

I just finished watching Marry Me Mary (also known as Marry Stayed Out All Night) two weeks ago... I love it! Now I'm watching Personal Taste (a.k.a. Personal Preference). Bought the DVD before leaving Singapore. :) These two Korean dramas are more like a mini-series, because there are only 16 episodes. But, oh my, each episode is an hour long! hihi!

Ok, now time to continue with today's Korean drama. :D

My mom just got back this morning from her VERY LONG vacation in the US. She was there for 6 months, stayed with some of her cousins and of course my grandma & tita (mom's sis).

There's no balikbayan without some pasalubong. There's clothes for Wookiee, my sister's shih tzu (the family's little baby. My sisters told me she has more stuffs than the rest of the family haha!), chocolates and other food of course, and some techie products. My aunt bought iPod Touch for my sisters and my mom brought it with her. Perfect time to try out my phone's FaceTime!

Hubby and I tried using FaceTime before, just to see how it works. But we were just sitting beside each other. We haven't really tried it with someone from far away. So this is kinda like my first time. :D

My sister asked for my FaceTime ID (same as the Apple ID) so she can contact me. No idea why she can't contact me, so she gave me her FaceTime ID instead. It finally worked! The whole family's home, playing with Wookiee, looking at pictures. I toured them around our flat. And they showed me the clothed mom bought for Wookiee. She changed clothes a few times just to show me... fashion show! hihi!

Hubby's guess why it didn't work because I'm using iPhone so it's suppose to use the phone number, and my sister is using an iPod Touch so she's using her Apple ID. I didn't use hubby's ID to contact him before, I just pressed the FaceTime button from my contacts. I gave my number to my sister (it's not in her iPod yet) and told her to try to contact me thru FaceTime again, and it worked! Again! :D

FaceTime... heaven sent to those far away from their families...

Colds Go Away!

I have this terrible cold since the weekend. Terrible! It ruined my weekend!

Hubby and I were supposed to go out with friends yesterday (no work yesterday, so long weekend for them). But there was also some problems with the DLR yesterday so sick or not, we won't be able to go out. Good thing too, because our friends have a toddler and if we did go out, little Eezie might get the colds from me as well.

It's Tuesday and my nose still feels stuffy. I finished a box of tissue already, and I'm halfway thru my 2nd box!

Go away colds!

Cadbury Wishes

This post brought to you by Cadbury Wishes. All opinions are 100% mine.

New chocolates from Cadbury that's perfect for Christmas? Perfect! :)

The new Cadbury product is called Cadbury Wishes, specially made this holiday season. It's a star-shaped milk chocolate with a truffly, bubbly centre. Not only is Wishes sinfully delicious, it's also true to its name - make wishes come true. This is because for every Cadbury Wishes sold, Cadbury makes a donation to the Make-a-Wish Foundation - 10% of its profits.

What is Make-A-Wish Foundation? It's a charity that makes wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses come true. A kid's wish can be as simple as going out to the beach or have a cute little teddy bear. Granting simple wishes of little kids can give joy and happiness not only to the kids but to their families as well.
I heard that Cadbury toured around the UK to get people involved in the Wishes campaign. It's not just helping Make-A-Wish, it's also making chocolate lovers' dreams come true! In the workshop, you can mix your own Cadbury concoction. :) This is my favorite, as I am a chocolate lover myself hihi!

Check out Cadbury Wishes Facebook page. From here you'll get more information about Cadbury Wishes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the schedule of events.
